on two aspects of quake as punishment by God and a challenge. The
crux of the debate was that the quake is a natural geo-phenomenon
that was a disaster and not a punishment by God. The debater said
that huge losses of life and property were only because of ill-planning
of our policymakers and corruption of relevant government department.
They recommended that the departments who were involved in the poor
quality construction of service delivery departments and the schools
and houses should be held accountable before the nation. |
